Created in 1884, Wandle is one of Morris's most ambitious repeating patterns, combining large stylised flowers with rhythmic, winding foliage. Its wonderfully intricate design makes this a particularly striking piece of William Morris homeware, while the bold colours give it a fresh and characterful feel.

The tray is hand painted in mustard yellow and finished with rusty red metallic edging, carefully chosen to pick up the rich colours within the Wandle pattern.

Care
