Furniture Painting for Beginners Workshop, 1-to-1 day in Stotfold

Come and learn with me!

I will teach you the skills and techniques you will need to transform your own furniture in a 1-to-1 Furniture Painting for Beginners Workshop at Shel's Shabby Chic in Stotfold SG5.

Working on your own small piece, you will learn how to thoroughly prep, perfectly paint and smoothly finish your furniture.

We will discuss anything and everything paint-related; cleaning solutions & masking tapes, paints, brushes & rollers, sandpaper, tack cloths and topcoats, plus all the tools and materials you will need to achieve a professional finish.

Bring your piece and a packed lunch. I'll provide the rest!

You will have fun and leave Shel's Shabby Chic bursting with knowledge and ideas, enough paint to tackle your next project (along with the confidence to do so) and a beautifully painted piece of furniture … created by you!
You will have my undivided attention for the whole day.
Hours are usually 9 am - 3 pm (with a break for lunch).

Leoni bought along her boring pine bookcase. Her vision was to transform it into a drinks cabinet. Leoni took home a professionally painted bookcase, added copper hairpin legs, funky lighting and a totally tropical wallpaper and created this amazing drinks cabinet. Well done Leoni - it's absolutely fabulous!

The price for the 1-to-1 Furniture Painting for Beginners Workshop is £185 and includes everything you need on the day, plus a pot of mineral paint to take home, as well as continued support from me.

Beginners Furniture Painting Kit

My Beginners Furniture Painting Kit contains all the tried and tested products you will use on the day, and you will need to hit the ground running (or painting) as soon as you get home, to upcycle your next piece of furniture.

1-to-1 Workshop customers get up close and personal with all these products during the day and then have the option to purchase the Beginners Furniture Painting Kit to take home with them.

Workshops are held in my studio and home in Stotfold SG5, near Hitchin.
