Discover the Art of Metal Embossing

Fancy trying something a little different?

Metal embossing is the art of creating raised designs and decorative textures in thin sheets of metal using specialist hand tools. You'll gradually work your design into the metal, building depth, texture and detail to create something beautifully handcrafted.

My small, friendly classes in Stotfold are designed for beginners, so no previous experience is needed. You will need a little patience and concentration as you follow the different stages — there's rather more involved than simply picking up a paintbrush, but that's also what makes the finished result so satisfying!

Choose Your Project

Each class is based around a particular project, with different designs available throughout the year.

Festive favourites include Gold Christmas Baubles, a Silver Christmas Tree and a Copper Angel, while other projects include personalised journals, embossed hearts and personalised plant and garden labels.

You'll work from your own boxed kit, complete with illustrated step-by-step instructions and everything needed for your project. I'll be there throughout to guide you, answer questions and help whenever you need it.

Your kit is yours to keep, along with your finished creation.

Better Together

Metal embossing is particularly enjoyable with friends. There's plenty to concentrate on, but also time to compare creations, encourage each other and have a laugh along the way.

You're very welcome to come alone, but if you have a group of friends who fancy learning something different together, private classes can also be arranged.
