Designed by May Morris in 1883, Honeysuckle features a wonderfully free-flowing tangle of woody stems, curling leaves and delicate honeysuckle flowers. May was William Morris's younger daughter and a talented designer and embroiderer in her own right, although this particular design was historically attributed to her more famous father. Today, Morris & Co. recognises Honeysuckle as May's work and one of her most enduring designs.
Its delicate botanical forms and lighter feel give Honeysuckle a rather different character from some of the richer, denser Morris & Co. patterns. It's unmistakably Arts & Crafts, yet its graceful, intertwining stems also work beautifully in both traditional and contemporary interiors.

Care
To keep your handcrafted coasters looking their best, wipe away spills promptly and clean with a soft damp cloth using warm water and a little mild washing-up liquid.
Do not allow water to stand on the surface. Dry thoroughly before stacking or storing.
Ideal for hot and cold drinks, wine bottles and teapots, but not suitable for use as a trivet or for placing in the dishwasher.
Avoid abrasive cleaners, furniture polishes or chemical sprays, as these may damage the protective finish over time.
