Designed by J. H. Dearle in 1892, Blackthorn is a richly detailed celebration of the natural world, with flowers, leaves and twisting thorny stems woven together into an abundant Arts & Crafts pattern. Dearle was William Morris's protégé and eventual successor at Morris & Co., and Blackthorn — his interpretation of the blackthorn or sloe tree — became one of his most enduring designs.
Choose from two beautiful colourways — Slate Blue or Charcoal Grey — each giving this wonderfully detailed pattern a different character.

Care
To keep your handcrafted coasters looking their best, wipe away spills promptly and clean with a soft damp cloth using warm water and a little mild washing-up liquid.
Do not allow water to stand on the surface. Dry thoroughly before stacking or storing.
Ideal for hot and cold drinks, wine bottles and teapots, but not suitable for use as a trivet or for placing in the dishwasher.
Avoid abrasive cleaners, furniture polishes or chemical sprays, as these may damage the protective finish over time.
