The Chateau Potagerie Ceramic Coasters | Handmade Set of 4
Bring a little of the French Chateau garden to your coffee table with this handcrafted set of four ceramic coasters, individually decoupaged with Angel Strawbridge's much-loved Potagerie design.
Created for the Potagerie Suite at Chateau de la Motte Husson, the design was inspired by the beautiful walled kitchen garden below. Angel combined her love of Art Deco shapes with the produce lovingly grown there by Dick — including carrots, courgettes, artichokes, sweet peas and bees — together with flowers inspired by the room's original century-old wallpaper.
The result is a wonderfully fresh and detailed pattern filled with all the charm of a French country garden. Look closely and you'll discover something different across every coaster.

Each heavyweight ceramic coaster is carefully handcrafted, finished with hand-painted metallic edging and fully cork-backed to protect your furniture. The surface is sealed with a durable heat and water-resistant varnish, making them practical for everyday use while protecting their carefully handcrafted finish.
Use them on a coffee table, desk or bedside table, bring them out for afternoon tea in true Chateau style, or give them as a rather special handmade gift to an Escape to the Chateau fan.

Potagerie is one of my bestselling Chateau designs and small batches are recreated throughout the year.
If the set is currently showing as sold out, please get in touch. I may already have another batch planned or be able to create a set especially for you. As each one is individually handcrafted, your four coasters will have their own unique selection of the Potagerie pattern.
Care
To keep your handcrafted coasters looking their best, wipe away spills promptly and clean with a soft damp cloth using warm water and a little mild washing-up liquid.
Do not allow water to stand on the surface. Dry thoroughly before stacking or storing.
Ideal for hot and cold drinks, wine bottles and teapots, but not suitable for use as a trivet or for placing in the dishwasher.
Avoid abrasive cleaners, furniture polishes or chemical sprays, as these may damage the protective finish over time.
