Turn Your Wallpaper Into Totally Unique Tableware

Have you fallen in love with a wallpaper you've used in your home — and have a little left over?

Rather than leaving it tucked away in a cupboard, I can transform it into a beautiful handcrafted serving tray and matching ceramic coasters, creating totally unique tableware designed especially for your home.

Your wallpaper will be carefully decoupaged onto a wooden serving tray, with coordinating ceramic coasters created from the same design. Each piece is individually handcrafted and carefully finished by hand, creating something completely personal that you certainly won't find on the High Street — or on your friends' and neighbours' coffee tables!

It could also make a wonderfully thoughtful gift, particularly for a new home, wedding or anniversary.

Your Serving Tray

The lightweight wooden serving tray measures approximately 35 × 25 × 6 cm and features practical cut-out handles.

Your chosen wallpaper will be carefully positioned and decoupaged onto the tray before being hand-finished with complementary painted details and metallic edging. It is then sealed with a durable, heat and water-resistant satin varnish for everyday use.

Your Matching Coasters

If you choose the complete set, you'll also receive four coordinating 10 × 10 cm ceramic coasters, handcrafted using the same wallpaper.

Each coaster is finished with complementary metallic edging, sealed with a durable satin varnish and backed with cork to help protect your furniture.

How It Works

Once you've placed your order:

  1. Send me a clear photograph of your wallpaper so I can check that it appears suitable for the making process.
  2. Once confirmed, send your wallpaper to me, rolled in a protective postal tube — please do not fold it. Alternatively, it can be dropped off to me in Stotfold SG5.
  3. I'll carefully select the pattern placement and transform your wallpaper into your bespoke tableware.
  4. Once finished, your order will be carefully packaged and sent back to you, or can be collected from Stotfold.

How Much Wallpaper Do I Need?

Approximately 1 metre is usually sufficient for a serving tray and four coasters. However, this will depend on the design, pattern repeat and texture of your wallpaper.

Please send me a photograph before posting your wallpaper so I can check its suitability first.

Any unused wallpaper will not be returned.

Pattern Placement

Pattern placement will be carefully selected by me to make the best use of your wallpaper and create the most attractive finished set.

Because every wallpaper design and pattern repeat is different, the placement of individual motifs will vary and cannot be specifically requested or guaranteed.

That's part of what makes your finished tableware completely unique.

Please note: the final three images shown are AI-generated to illustrate how your own wallpaper could be transformed into a custom made serving tray and coasters. Your finished pieces will be individually handcrafted by me using the wallpaper you provide.

Please Allow Plenty of Time

Once your wallpaper has arrived with me, please allow up to 10 working days for your bespoke tableware to be created and carefully finished, followed by delivery time for its return journey.

You'll also need to allow time to send me a photograph, have the wallpaper confirmed as suitable and post it to me.

The complete process can therefore take several weeks. If you're ordering for a particular occasion — especially Christmas — please order well in advance.

Every piece is individually handcrafted and carefully finished by hand. The placement of each design varies naturally, ensuring that no two pieces are ever exactly alike.

Care Information

Your handcrafted tableware has been carefully sealed with a durable, heat and water-resistant varnish to help protect it during everyday use.

To clean, simply add a small amount of washing-up liquid to warm water and use a soft cloth, wrung out well, to gently wipe the surface. Dry immediately with a clean, soft cloth.

Do not immerse in water or place in a dishwasher, and avoid cleaning sprays, chemicals, furniture polishes, waxes or abrasive cleaners, as these may damage the finish.

Every bespoke set is individually created and finished by me in Stotfold SG5, on the Hertfordshire/Bedfordshire border.
