Christmas Shopping with The Furniture Bureau
Come and find The Furniture Bureau at Fairfield's Christmas Lights Switch-On on Saturday 28 November 2026, from 3pm–7pm, at the Urban Park in Fairfield, SG5.
Following last year's festive community event, Fairfield will once again be getting into the Christmas spirit with its Christmas market and all-important switching on of the tree lights.
Last year's celebrations brought together local crafters, live music, children's entertainment, festive food and drink and, of course, mulled wine — all centred around the Community Hall and Urban Park.
I'll be there with a selection of handcrafted homewares, totally unique tableware, creative kits and festive gifts — perfect for finding something a little different for Christmas.
Because sometimes it's rather nice to meet the person behind the things you buy.
Furniture Transformations
I won't be bringing any furniture along with me (I'd need a considerably bigger stall!), but my Furniture Transformations Look-Book will be there.
If you have a vintage piece at home that you've fallen out of love with, come and have a chat about how I could transform it into something completely unique for your home.

About the Event
Fairfield's Christmas Lights Switch-On is a community Christmas celebration centred around the Urban Park and Fairfield Community Hall.
The 2025 event included a Christmas market of local crafters, live music in the Urban Park, children's Christmas activities and a grotto in the Community Hall, festive food and drink, mulled wine and the Christmas Lights Switch-On itself.
The event returns for 2026 on Saturday 28 November, and I'll update this page with further entertainment and event details as they're announced.
